Job summary

The Creamery Kitchen, part of Dairy Farmers of America, is a quick service restaurant inside Southern Utah's popular destination, The Creamery. The kitchen assistant will join the team to deliver wholesome, fresh meals made by hand and to order.

Responsibilities include all aspects of food preparation at various kitchen stations, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Training includes GMP, HACCP, and SQF compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team oriented with strong customer service focus.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service and quality food at The Creamery Kitchen.
• Set up, operate, and close daily stations (pizza, salad, plater, expeditor, cashier).
• Follow State Health and Safety codes and GMP policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Assist with deliveries and proper storage (FIFO).
• Operate cash register and handle cash responsibly.
