Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher to join our culinary team. You will help maintain a spotless kitchen and serveware, supporting the Gold Leaf Dining experience that defines our high standards for residents' meals.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, storing clean items, cleaning prep and service areas according to health codes, and assisting with waste disposal. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position is preferred.
• Adherence to health code requirements in the kitchen.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment.
• Empty dish machine and properly store clean items.
• Clean preparation and service areas according to health code requirements.
• Take all garbage to the dumpster.
• Launder table linens.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
