Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team and help maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and serving areas, contributing to the Gold Leaf Dining experience for residents.

You will operate dishwashing equipment, assist with meal service, and follow health and safety guidelines while communicating effectively with residents and staff in a warm, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operating the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment
• Emptying dish machine and properly storing clean items
• Cleaning the preparation and service areas according to health code requirements
• Taking all garbage to the dumpster
• Laundering table linens
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
