Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support our catering team and help deliver nutritious meals in our care homes. You will work with the Head Chef to ensure safe food preparation and maintain high cleanliness standards.

This fast-paced role rewards teamwork, organisation and a strong work ethic. Full training is provided, and you will join a friendly team dedicated to resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Kitchen or catering experience is desirable but full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are important in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to follow safety and hygiene guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in all areas.
• Follow HACCP, Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH regulations at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation and reporting faults or equipment issues.
