The Guild of St. Agnes seeks a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support meal preparation and kitchen operations for early childhood programs. The role involves ensuring food safety, managing supplies, and delivering meals to various centers. Ideal candidates will have prior food preparation experience and strong communication skills.
Founded in 1913, the Guild of St. Agnes is the largest early education and care agency in Central Massachusetts serving almost 2,000 children in our centers and programs which are fully licensed by the MA Department of Early Education & Care (EEC). Our mission is to provide families with quality, affordable early childhood education and school age programs in a safe, nurturing environment.
The Kitchen Assistant is a part-time role floating between our programs. This person will be responsible for helping prepare a high volume of meals and snacks for our early childcare and education program as well as deliver to our centers. They will follow established guidelines for kitchen safety and procedures, and ensure compliance with Federal, State, local government and agency expectations.
