Job Summary

The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dinnerware and kitchenware, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the department. This includes emptying and cleaning trash containers and ensuring all floors are clean and meet sanitation standards. The role may also involve performing computer-related activities as required.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
2. At least 1 year of food service experience in a hospital, commercial restaurant, or other food service operation.
3. Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions in English.
4. Fluency in Spanish is desirable.
5. Ability to correctly follow instructions related to the use, disposal, and mixing of chemicals.
