KPOT is seeking a passionate Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher in Pearl, MS to help keep the kitchen moving and support a lively, high-energy team dedicated to delivering great guest experiences. No prior kitchen experience is required, but reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Duties include dishwashing, basic food prep support, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift.
• Lift up to 25–50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to KPOT standards.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Manage time to ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and all dishes are ready for use.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate allergy orders clearly to front-of-house and management.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, hospitality-focused attitude.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions:

• Prior kitchen experience is not necessary but preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
