Job summary

Capital Preparatory Charter Schools is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to work closely with the kitchen manager and provide the highest level of service to students. Responsibilities include setting up the kitchen for lunch, cashiering, and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Help in the kitchen, set up, and assemble line for lunch easy flow.
• Cashiering during lunch meals.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to students and staff.
• Clean up once meals have been served.
• Follow safe and proper procedures in the course of daily work.
• Arrive on time and demonstrate effective time management.
• Attend yearly training required by the USDA.
• Other duties as assigned, including tasks that support the essential functions of the Child Nutrition Program.

Job Qualifications
