KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is hiring a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly in a high-energy setting. You will support prep, cleaning, and coordination with front-of-house to ensure timely service.

We value teamwork, strong communication, and attention to detail. No prior kitchen experience is required, but reliability and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working around grills and hot cooking surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to KPOT's standards.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Manage time to ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and all dishes are ready for use.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with the front-of-house and management regarding allergy orders.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and hospitality-focused attitude at all times.
• Be a team player, assisting other team members whenever needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
