BirdDog Design + Build is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer + Showroom Associate to transform kitchens and baths for walk-in clients. You will craft designs, pull together materials, and guide clients through cabinet selections with confidence.

Join a veteran-owned design-build remodeling firm serving Baltimore & Harford Counties. You’ll work in a growing showroom and collaborate with installation teams to ensure designs align with BirdDog standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Residential kitchen and bathroom design experience required.
• Strong cabinet knowledge, finishes, pricing tiers and layouts.
• Proficiency with Chief Architect or Cabinet2020; willingness to learn others.

Responsibilities

• Design kitchen/bath spaces with client vision, lifestyle and budget.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings and drawings.
• Manage selections, mood boards and materials lists.
• Coordinate with installation team for buildability and standards.
• Conduct measurements, consultations and design presentations.
• Assist with permitting documents when needed.
• Maintain organized digital project folders and SOPs.
• Welcome showroom clients and guide cabinet selections.
• Educate on product differences, finishes and budget considerations.
• Maintain showroom displays and support lead follow-up.

BirdDog Design + Build is looking for a talented Kitchen & Bath Designer + Showroom Associate to join our growing team.

We are a veteran-owned, design-build remodeling company serving Baltimore & Harford Counties, known for our premium client experience, strong systems, and beautifully crafted spaces. With our expanding showroom presence, we’re looking for someone who thrives both in design development and face-to-face client interaction.

What You’ll Do

Design Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop kitchen and bathroom designs aligned with their vision, lifestyle, and budget
• Produce floor plans, layouts, elevations, 3D renderings, and construction-ready drawings
• Create and manage selections packages, mood boards, and curated materials lists
• Work closely with our install team to ensure designs are buildable and aligned with BirdDog standards
• Participate in onsite measurements, discovery consultations, and design presentations
• Assist with permitting documentation when required
• Maintain organized digital job folders and follow our BirdDog Design process & SOPs

Showroom Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk-in showroom clients
• Provide confident guidance on cabinet lines, door styles, finishes, hardware, and layout options
• Educate clients on product differences, quality levels, and budget considerations
• Help clients navigate selections in an organized, curated, and professional way
• Maintain showroom displays, sample organization, and presentation standards
• Support lead capture and follow-up process for showroom inquiries

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in residential kitchen & bathroom design (required)
• Strong cabinet knowledge (construction types, door styles, finishes, pricing tiers)
• Chief Architect proficiency preferred or Cabinet2020 (or willingness to learn with other software experience)
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, fixtures, layouts, and space-planning
• Ability to communicate confidently with clients in both design meetings and walk-in interactions
• High level of organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to grow
• Comfort working within a design-build process
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once
