Job summary

Portland Community College's Child Development Center needs a dependable Cook to assist with nutritious meals and snacks for young children, while keeping a clean, safe kitchen environment at the Sylvania campus.

The Child Development Center Cook supports the preparation and service of nutritious meals and snacks for young children in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, following menu and food-safety guidelines, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, washing dishes, organizing supplies, and supporting meal service and cleanup. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, works well with others, and enjoys working in an early childhood setting.
