Job summary

Kearsley High School in Michigan is seeking a school food service staff member for approximately 23 hours per week, with shifts Monday through Friday. The role includes serving meals, cashier duties, and assisting in dishwashing and cleanup, under the Director or Head Cook.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Duties include dishwashing, cleaning, assembling and serving sandwiches, setting up serving lines or salad bar and operating the POS System; other duties may include food preparation and cleanup
• Abide by all state and local health and safety regulations
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Be knowledgeable about current and future food service procedures, policies, and regulations
• Must work well with students and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director or Head Cook
• Cashier tasks: prepare financial reports for lunch program
• Record all lunch sales accurately
• Recognize a reimbursable meal
• Work well with students and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director or Head Cook
