Grandview Healthcare Center in Iowa is seeking a Cook to join our friendly, caring team. You will prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs and ensure high standards of food safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least a 10th grade education; skilled nursing foodservice experience is preferred, but we are willing to invest in the right person. Join a supportive team where your cooking talents help residents enjoy meals and a safe dining experience every day.

As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Grandview Healthcare Center by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
