Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Kit Assembly Supervisor to lead a 4-8 person kit assembly team within a manufacturing setting. Under the Area Manager, you’ll direct work orders, train staff on SOPs, and ensure on-time delivery while supporting cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with up to 3 years of experience (or an associate degree with 3–5 years) and strong Excel, problem-solving, and communication skills to drive continuous improvement and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with up to 3 years of relevant experience; or an Associate degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred.
• Ability to work in a dynamic production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel and ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
• Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports and provide feedback.
• Author, review, and approve controlled documents related to product kitting.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and manage kit assembly inventory.
• Review production reports and coordinate with adjacent departments.
• Lead daily tier board meetings.
• Participate in area 5S and Gemba walk activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
