Job summary

RRD is seeking a Warehouse/Kit assembler responsible for assembling documents and customer materials into complete kits. The role includes pre-assembly tasks, packing to customer specs, and stocking the work area, with opportunities to train others in lean methods.

Responsibilities cover picking, packing, counting inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate labeling per procedures. Flexibility for overtime and shift needs is required in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior warehouse or kitting experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and identify correct parts.
• Basic communication skills (written and/or verbal).
• Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures, equipment and warehouse procedures.
• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per instructions.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble documents and materials into completed kits.
• Pre-assembly duties: box prep, stocking area, gathering materials, organizing workspace.
• Follow procedures for routine packing and material collations.
• Pick and package printed materials or related items per packing requirements.
• Assemble finished products into boxes/containers for shipping per specifications.
• Count and sort inventory as required.
• Train others in new processes and lean methodologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
