Job summary

Coinstar is seeking a Field Technician to perform first and second line maintenance on Coinstar kiosks within an assigned territory. You will plan and schedule days, adapting to changing priorities, routes, tasks and weather conditions.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, repairs and remote diagnostics. A valid driver’s license and flexible schedule are required as is strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent with 2+ years of troubleshooting and repair experience
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software and computer-controlled equipment
• Experience working independently or with limited supervision
• 1+ year of field experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance including cleaning kiosks and replacing consumables
• Electromechanical troubleshooting, calibration, repair and maintenance
• Test all kiosk components including connectivity, software and electromechanical functions
• Perform remote diagnostics and assist colleagues with repairs remotely
• Manage field change orders and weekly planning to meet deadlines
