Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Kinship & Adoption Navigator to join our Foster Care team in Ohio. You will support kinship caregivers and adoptive parents, coordinating services, and maintaining case records to ensure fidelity to OhioKAN models.

You will meet weekly with the OhioKAN Regional Coach for case consultation, debriefs, and collaboration with regional coordinators and partners to build robust service networks.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Education, or a related field.
• Direct experience with families or professional case management preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and case databases.
• Active driver's license and proof of valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess kinship and adoptive families to identify goals and develop individualized care plans.
• Build regional resource lists and partner networks; maintain referral pipelines.
• Maintain full family records in the OhioKAN database and participate in weekly consultations.
• Conduct home visits and host community events to provide direct support.
• Coordinate culturally competent interventions respecting diverse language and cultural norms, including ICWA protections.

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Kinship & Adoption Navigator to join our Foster Care team. The Kinship and Adoption Navigator supports kinship caregivers and adoptive parents in accessing the services, resources, and social support they need to care for themselves and the children in their homes.
