Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking a full‑time A&P Mechanic for the San Antonio, TX area to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft. Work includes engine and airframe maintenance, troubleshooting, and applying service bulletins to ensure airworthiness.

The role requires an A&P license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of diversified jet, turboprop, or piston maintenance experience. On-site work with a comprehensive rewards package is provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• A&P License required.
• Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures per FAR 43 is required.
• A minimum of 2 year’s experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.
• Diagnose malfunctions, disassemble, rework, repair, replace, reassemble and adjust aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery.
• Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines and airframe systems; carry out service bulletins and kits.
