East Texas A&M University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in Kinesiology. The position involves teaching up to two courses per semester within the B.S. Kinesiology & Sports Studies program under the Health & Human Performance department.

Courses may be taught on-campus, off-campus, or online, and during day or evening hours to meet student demand and departmental needs. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours or a terminal degree.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field is required to teach undergraduate courses OR a terminal degree in the field of study or closely related is required to teach graduate courses.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to two courses per semester in the B.S. Kinesiology & Sports Studies program.
• Delivery may be on-campus, off-campus, or online and may occur day and/or evening.
• Develop and manage the class syllabus to meet standards.
• Plan lectures, create in-class discussions, and assignments.
• Assess grades based on participation and exams.
• Mentor students as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
