Job description

Adjunct - Kinesiology

The Department of Kinesiology and Public Health is now accepting applications for part‑time adjunct professors for the B.S. in Kinesiology program – Fall 2026. Preferred candidates will possess clinical and teaching experience in kinesiology, exercise science, biomechanics, physical therapy, or athletic training.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Teach 1–2 courses per semester in an in‑person, lab, or online format.
  • Provide feedback to students via online learning activities and assessment of assignments submitted through the Learning Management System (i.e., Canvas).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, accountability, and initiative, along with a strong Christian commitment and interest in the integration of faith with learning.
Qualifications
  • Hold a Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a similar area. A doctorate in Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Physical Therapy, or a related degree is preferred.
  • Maintain current certification in the area of expertise.
  • Possess a commitment to high‑quality instruction in an in‑person or online student‑centered environment.

Hiring Range: Adjunct per unit rate ranges from $1,338/unit – $1,894/unit
