• Current Massachusetts DESE Certification in Elementary Education

• Experience across elementary reading, mathematics, writing, and social-emotional learning

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, inclusive, culturally responsive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Implement the district curriculum aligned with MA DESE Frameworks for standards-based instruction with inclusion.
• Administer district assessments and use data to inform instructional strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development including instructional technology.
• Diagnose and evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Refer students for alternative services as provided by the District.
• Collaborate with grade level, department, and teachers for best practices across the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate student records as required by policy and law.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or WPS Administration.
