Responsibilities

• Instructs students in designated subject areas following the curriculum adopted by the Board of Trustees.
• Supervises classroom instructional assistants and para-educators as applicable.
• Establishes and enforces classroom behavior and procedures for order.
• Observes and evaluates student performance and development.
• Prepares materials and classrooms for class activities and technology use.
• Plans and conducts a balanced program of instruction with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
• Communicates objectives to students and maintains accurate records.
