Job summary

LUBBOCK INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Teacher under the Exempt wage/hour status for PreK-12. The role reports to the Principal and follows the district's 10-month contract and pay grade structure.

The teacher will develop and deliver lessons aligned with the district curriculum, differentiate for diverse learners, and uphold TEA policies while using technology to enhance learning. Collaboration with Special Education and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learning styles.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials suitable for students' learning needs.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Plan and supervise assignments of aides and volunteers.
• Incorporate technology to strengthen teaching and learning.
