Qualifications

• Current and valid Massachusetts DESE licensure for Early Childhood (PreK-2 or PreK-3) is required.
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Teach pupils in an integrated setting using district curriculum as guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and school policy.
• Collaborate with colleagues, students and parents as a liaison between home and school.
• Develop lesson plans and provide individualized and small-group instruction.
• Identify pupil needs and work with staff to support health, attitude, and learning goals.
• Supervise pupils during the school day and related activities.
• Communicate progress to parents through conferences and other means.
• Create engaging learning environments with displays and centers.
• Participate in curriculum development and school committees.
