Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in core subjects including Mathematics, ELA, Science, Social Studies.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and school administrators.
• Data collection, progress monitoring, report writing, parent engagement, and other program responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely student records.
• Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.
• Assess student learning through multiple measurement strategies.
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide high-quality instruction aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in core subject areas including: Mathematics,English Language Arts,Science, Social Studies.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and school administrators.
• Data collection, progress monitoring, report writing, parent engagement, work as grade level "team member" and other program responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely student records.
• Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.
• Assess student learning through multiple measurement strategies.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
