Swartz Creek is seeking caring, motivated individuals to support young learners as they begin their school journey. Join us in a nurturing environment to help shape a strong foundation for students.

Start Date: 2026-2027; Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:45am–3:45pm. Responsibilities include assisting with prep, supervision, behavior support, and progress observation.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting teachers in organized classrooms.
• Ability to support individual and small groups effectively.
• Strong communication with students, parents, and staff.

Responsabilités

• Assist the lead teacher with classroom prep and organization.
• Support individual and small group learning activities.
• Help manage behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one support to students needing extra help.
• Set up and tidy learning materials and supplies.
• Monitor student safety and well-being throughout the day.
• Record student progress observations and share with the teacher.
• Encourage social skills and cooperation among students.
• Support self-care routines and independence skills.
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and activities.
• Communicate respectfully with students, teachers, and parents.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings.

• Assist the lead teacher with classroom preparation and organization.
• Support individual and small group learning activities.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up learning materials and classroom supplies.
• Monitor student safety and well-being throughout the school day.
• Record observations on student progress and report to the teacher.
• Encourage social skills and cooperation among students.
• Support students with self-care routines and independence skills.
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Communicate respectfully with students, teachers, and parents as needed.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings.
