Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons focused on kindergarten readiness and aligned with curriculum standards.
• Foster literacy, math, language, science, social-emotional development, and independence.
• Create a structured, organized classroom meeting licensing and ratio requirements.
• Prepare children for kindergarten routines by teaching independence and classroom expectations.
• Observe, assess, and document each child's progress to guide instruction.
• Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and conferences.
• Maintain accurate documentation including attendance and records.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve classroom quality and outcomes.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom where every child feels safe and excited to learn.
