Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking a Kindergarten Readiness Teacher in Bryant to prepare children for kindergarten through intentional instruction, meaningful play, and hands-on experiences focused on academic and social-emotional growth.

You will plan engaging lessons, assess progress, and partner with families to support each child’s development, while upholding high standards of learning, organization, and professionalism in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience in early childhood education.
• CDA credential required; degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons focused on kindergarten readiness.
• Foster literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development.
• Create an organized classroom meeting licensing and ratio requirements.
• Prepare children for independence and classroom routines.
• Observe, assess, and document developmental progress to guide instruction.
• Build partnerships with families through daily communication and conferences.
• Maintain accurate attendance, assessments, and records.
• Collaborate with leaders and educators to improve classroom quality.
• Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging learning environment.
