Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher from a Georgia PSC-approved college/university required.
• 60 sem. hours or 90 quarter hours with GPA 2.0+ from a GA PSC-approved college/university.
• Valid PSC-approved paraprofessional certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with physical/personal care needs per IEP and district policy.
• Provide small group or one‑on‑one instruction per teacher lesson plans.
• Monitor students during non-instructional times and support classroom management.
• Assist with assessment and recordkeeping of student performance.
• Develop and organize instructional materials for instructional segments.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records per FERPA and district policies.
