Job summary

Hurld-Wyman Elementary School in Woburn, MA is seeking a part-time Kindergarten Paraprofessional to support the lead teacher and students. The role is up to 19 hours per week with no benefits.

You will assist with supervision, classroom activities, and behavior support plans, communicating effectively with staff and families and helping students develop daily living and academic skills. Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience working with students with social, emotional, and/or behavioral needs.
• Excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/assist students across all internal school environments, and outside on school grounds.
• Assist and support professional staff across the Kindergarten curriculum.
• Assist in the implementation of behavior support plans for students.
• Provide school-based, classroom, lunch, and arrival and recess supervision.
• Assume any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Principal and/or the Teacher.
• Demonstrate dependability, initiative, responsibility, and organization skills.
