Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher for Avon Public Schools in Connecticut, starting August 24, 2026. Responsibilities:

• Prepare instructional resources and assessments that support the delivery of the Avon Public School's curriculum, particularly the elementary disciplines.
• Develop and implement lesson plans, unit plans, and educational projects to ensure students’ academic development.
• Provide differentiated instructional strategies and assessment and/or modify the curriculum to meet the learning needs of students with structured learning plans (IEPs and 504s).
• Provide support to all learners who require additional help or guidance with academic problems and concepts.
• Other responsibilities as defined by the building principal or designee.
