Job summary

Great Hearts Academies seeks a Kindergarten Lead Teacher for Archway Trivium Academy in Goodyear, AZ. You will lead a homeroom, deliver a classical curriculum including Spalding Phonics, Singapore Mathematics, History, Science and Literature, with support from an Assistant Teacher.

Excellent communication with families, adherence to school policies, and a commitment to the Great Hearts mission are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required for lead teaching role.
• US work authorization required, OPT/CPT candidates accepted.
• Background check and fingerprint clearance required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes using Great Hearts curriculum and materials with a thoughtful, engaging approach.
• Provide appropriate academic support to students and monitor progress in collaboration with school leadership.
• Uphold Great Hearts culture, policies, dress code, conduct and safety procedures in the school environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families and initiate conferences as needed to foster home–school partnerships.
• Participate in faculty collaboration, school events and duties, contributing to ongoing professional growth.
