Excell Preparatory Center in Lithonia, GA seeks an enthusiastic classroom educator to plan and conduct programs introducing literacy, numeracy, music, and art for young children, fostering physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth. You will work directly with the Director to implement developmentally appropriate activities.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a safe, orderly classroom, documenting children's progress, collaborating with parents and staff,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years' experience in childcare and pursuing a degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of theory and practice of early childhood education.
• Knowledge of operation of a school program.
• Knowledge of children's games and craft activities.
• Knowledge of simple record keeping and office procedures.
• Knowledge of standard office equipment.
• Working knowledge of computer skills.
