Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or related training.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum; show prep evidence and accommodate student differences.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, activities, materials and tech per TEA guidelines.
• Assess student learning styles and plan interventions based on results.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Coordinate goals with staff and assign work to aides/volunteers.
• Maintain a productive classroom; protect students and materials; follow code of conduct.
