IDEA Public Schools in Austin, TX seeks an hourly Co-Teacher to support Direct Instruction delivery and student mastery under the guidance of lead teachers and administrators.

You will assist with instructional delivery, manage student records, and help maintain a positive classroom environment while promoting district-wide DI practices. Grant-funded role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: At least 48 college hours required or bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
• Experience: 1+ year working with children in classroom or volunteer setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational development of students under guidance of classroom teachers.
• Assist teachers with maintaining student records.
• Implement the Direct Instruction Curriculum.
• Support weekly progress communications with students and families.
