NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a Kinaxis Technical Support Engineer - Remote to join their team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Job Description

  • Looking for a Level-3 Kinaxis Technical Support Engineer to resolve incidents for Kinaxis, PlanetTogether, and the integration between them.

Tier-3 Support Responsibilities

  • We are looking for comprehensive Tier-3 support to ensure the smooth operation and continued optimization of our Scheduling tool, PlanetTogether, and the Kinaxis/PlanetTogether integration.

Troubleshooting And Issue Resolution

  • Diagnose and resolve any issues related to the Accelerator (Kinaxis Composite Workbooks and Scripting) responsible for loading data from Kinaxis into PlanetTogether.

Customization Support And Fixes

  • Address issues related to customizations implemented within PlanetTogether and the Accelerator. Apply necessary fixes to ensure the custom functionality operates as intended/designed.

Version Upgrade Testing And Adjustments

  • Test new PlanetTogether version upgrades for compatibility with existing systems and custom logic. If PlanetTogether releases a standard solution that replaces a previously implemented custom solution, the corresponding custom logic must be removed as part of the upgrade to ensure system efficiency.

Capped at two version upgrades per year.

Scope

  • Coverage for 2 Plants: Greenville, NC; Ferentino, Italy
  • Expected service hours during the US business hours: 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET and CET, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical support role supporting external customers on a software solution, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support, supply chain applications ideal including
  • Accelerator (Kinaxis Composite Workbooks and Scripting) responsible for loading data from Kinaxis into PlanetTogether
  • Knowledge of relevant case tracking applications
  • Solid working knowledge of Windows environments, ERP business software, and experience with web-based applications
  • Strong research skills
  • Working knowledge of relational databased and query writing considered an asset
  • Experience in manufacturing, production planning, inventory management or demand management in a support or planning role a strong asset
