Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Kiln Operator to monitor tile movement through the kiln firing process in our manufacturing environment. You will help ensure the production line runs efficiently and tile quality meets standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic English, and strong attention to detail. You will work with a team, maintain safety, and follow ISO procedures throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitors movement of tile entering and exiting the kiln to ensure efficiency.
• Inspects tile for defects.
• Records temperature of kiln every hour during shift.
• Collects tile samples for lab.
• Reports issues to supervisor.
• Follows ISO procedures and control plan.
• Maintains a clean, safe, organized workstation.
• Performs required training and participates in incident investigations.
