Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, seeks a Kiln Operator in El Paso to monitor tile movement through the kiln firing process and support efficient production.

You will inspect tiles for defects, record kiln temperatures hourly, collect samples for lab, and follow ISO procedures while maintaining a safe, clean workspace and cooperating with the MFG TEAM. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Accurate measurement capability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tile entering and exiting the kiln to ensure process is efficient.
• Inspect tiles for defects.
• Record temperature of kiln every hour during shift.
• Collect tile samples for lab.
• Follow ISO operating procedures and control plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and cooperate with the team.
