Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Kiln Operator to monitor tile flow through the kiln firing process in a large tile and stone manufacturing setting. You will ensure efficient operation, inspect tiles for defects, and record temperature data hourly while collecting samples for lab.

The role requires basic English communication, adherence to ISO procedures, and a strong focus on safety and team collaboration in a fast-paced production area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic English communication and good listening skills.
• Willingness to follow ISO procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tile movement through the kiln and ensure efficient operation.
• Inspect tiles for defects and document process data hourly.
• Record kiln temperatures and collect tile samples for lab.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area and follow safety rules.
• Report issues to supervisor and participate in incident investigations.
