Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Windsor, CO is hiring a General Labor (Kiln) to safely handle lumber products and operate kiln-related equipment.

You will stack, label, band and secure materials, assist with loading, and maintain clean work areas, following safety and production guidelines. The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and may involve incentive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Move and secure lumber products and materials per instructions.
• Stack finished products to bundle sizes or customer requirements.
• Label material by type, size and count.
• Apply tags before/after treating/production.
• Use staple gun; troubleshoot equipment.
• Band, bundle and strap material; attach corner protectors/loading sticks.
• Ensure correct quantities; inventory tags and report discrepancies.
• Record production on sheets; maintain clean area.
• Help with other areas as needed; assist loading/unloading carts.
• Participate in safety and CI programs.
