Job summary

Pine Hall Brick in Georgia is seeking a burning department operator responsible for the full operation of dryers, kilns, DLAs, car haulage, and propane systems, including adjustments, preventive maintenance, and daily reports. Rotating night shift 6pm-6am.

You will monitor kilns, perform quality checks, participate in housekeeping, and train new staff as needed. Must learn the full operation and handle basic computer tasks; forklift license may be required.

Qualifications

• Hardhat, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes required.
• Ability and willingness to help throughout the Plant where needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full operation of the burning department including dryers, kilns, DLAs, car haulage systems, and propane systems.
• Perform operation adjustments, preventive maintenance, and repairs as needed.
• Conduct quality checks and prepare shift and daily reports.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and participate in training of new employees.
