Job summary

NGK Ceramics USA, Inc. is seeking a reliable team member to load, unload, and move products in the kiln area, supporting safe and efficient production of fired ceramic products.

You will follow established procedures, operate the hydraulic transfer car, and ensure accurate documentation using CAPAC systems. The role requires reading safety and maintenance documents, handling materials with gloves, and complying with all EMS and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CRC Bronze or higher preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents related to safety, operating procedures, and maintenance manuals.
• Experience in manufacturing/warehousing preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products for kiln area operations following established procedures.
• Operate hydraulic transfer car to move kiln cars; verify movements via control panel indicators.
• Handle, stack, and unstack Tochi and load materials into racks and stock yards.
• Input process data into CAPAC information systems; maintain accurate records.
• Follow EMS procedures and safety guidelines; report issues to team leader promptly.
