Job summary

Peoria Unified School District seeks a KidZone Site Supervisor to lead after-school activities, supervise staff, and foster a positive, learning-friendly environment for students. The role reports to the KidZone Program Facilitator and spans a 12-month term with Salary Classification: 11.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and meet Arizona staff qualification criteria for facilities directors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Specific AZ staff qualifications for facilities director must be documented.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Establish & maintain rapport with students, employees & community.
• Assist site manager with planning of program and supervision of staff and children.
• Keep manager informed of staff & student activities.
• Purchase necessary supplies to carry out program activities.
• Maintain an inventory of equipment at the site.
• Train childcare associates in KidZone & district policies.
• Cultivate supportive relationships with host school staff.
• Assist with record keeping for the site.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

6 college credits in early childhood or 60 hours instruction

N.A.C./C.D.A./C.C.P/CPC credential + 18 months childcare

24 credits with 6 in ECD + 18 months childcare

Associate degree in ECD + 6 months childcare

Bachelor degree in ECD + 3 months childcare
