Job summary

Peoria Unified School District is seeking a KidZone Associate to support students in before- and after-school care programs for kindergarten through 8th grade. You will supervise children, help with activities, and foster safe, friendly environments that encourage learning and growth.

The role collaborates with school staff, parents, and team members to deliver a nurturing and enriching experience, while maintaining positive behavior and adhering to program policies and health and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• First aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Effective communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during before- and after-school program.
• Assist with activities and supervise group to ensure safety.
• Foster development of social skills and positive behavior.
• Coordinate with school staff and parents to support a nurturing environment.
