Job summary

Midtown Athletic Club is seeking a KidTown/Child Care Associate to join our childcare team. You will lead activities, foster safe movement, and build strong relationships with families in a lively environment.

The role requires 2+ years of childcare experience, comfort with ages 8 weeks to 15 years, and CPR/First Aid & AED certification (training provided). You will be working afternoons with weekend availability in the Deerfield location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of childcare experience in an educationally supportive environment.
• Comfortable caring for children from 8 weeks to 15 years old.
• CPR/First Aid & AED certification required (training provided by Midtown).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong verbal communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities such as arts, crafts, story time and games.
• Foster movement-based, safe and engaging environments.
• Communicate behaviors to parents at pick-up in a constructive way.
• Build positive relationships with families and staff.
• Maintain a clean, germ-free space and assist leadership in program improvement.
