Job summary

Midtown Athletic Clubs in Bannockburn, IL is seeking a KidTown Associate to support our childcare team. You will lead age-appropriate activities, nurture movement, and help children feel safe and engaged during afternoon and weekend hours.

We value energetic, patient caregivers who can communicate with parents, maintain a clean space, and collaborate with leadership to improve KidTown. CPR/First Aid training is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Comfort with children aged 8 weeks to 15 years.
• Ability to move between seated and standing and actively lead activities.
• Must obtain CPR, First Aid & AED certification (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead age-appropriate activities such as arts, crafts, story time, and games.
• Foster movement and healthy lifestyles through engaging play.
• Communicate both positive and challenging behaviors to parents at pick-up.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and germs-free space for children and staff.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve KidTown and Varsity Club.
