Job summary

KidStrong Kenwood (OH) is seeking energetic coaches to deliver 45-minute science-based classes for kids from 15 months to 11 years. This role combines teaching, coaching, and customer service in a busy family-centered environment.

Positions include Point Coach, Rover Coach, Lobby Coach, and Mentor, with shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends. CPR certification and KidStrong Coach Certification are required or completed shortly after hire.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with kids.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass a background check and achieve KidStrong Coach Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coach ages 15 months–11 years with current week's programming; explain the curriculum to parents in one sentence.
• Create positive interactions with students and families before, during, and after class; maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational demeanor.
• Record attendance, awards, and progress in the KS Coach App.
• Read and react to the daily Shift Operations Report (SOR) in Slack; post AARs as assigned.
• Maintain daily and weekly cleaning and equipment checklists.
• Communicate professionally in Slack; check messages before shifts.
• Complete required KidStrong University modules before training and ongoing.
• Coach special events when scheduled.
