Job summary

KidStrong West Nashville is seeking a energetic part-time coach to deliver a science-based curriculum focused on brain, body, and character development for children from walking age through 11.

You’ll coach small groups, connect with parents, and help families love coming to class. Competitive hourly pay and flexible scheduling are offered.

CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain; experience with children and high energy required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 15 months–11 years in coaching, teaching, camp, pediatric PT/OT, etc.
• Comfortable speaking with parents and explaining curriculum in plain language
• Working knowledge of movement, exercise technique, or body mechanics
• CPR certified or willing to get certified before your first class

KidStrong West Nashville is growing fast, and we're looking for a coach who brings real energy to the floor, connects naturally with kids and parents, and takes pride in delivering a great class every time.

This isn't a babysitting role. You'll deliver a science-based curriculum designed to build brain, body, and character in kids from walking age through 11 — and you'll be the reason families keep coming back.

What you'll do

Coach small groups of kids through structured, evolving weekly curriculum focused on physical development, cognitive skills, and character building. Between classes, you'll connect with parents — explaining the "why" behind what their kids are working on and making them feel confident in the program.

What we're looking for

The strongest candidates have a background in athletics, coaching, education, or child development. You don't need a perfect resume — you need to be great with kids, coachable, and reliable.

• Experience working with children ages 15 months–11 years (coaching, teaching, camp, pediatric PT/OT, etc.)
• Comfortable speaking with parents and explaining curriculum in plain language
• Working knowledge of movement, exercise technique, or body mechanics
• CPR certified or willing to get certified before your first class
• High energy, positive attitude, team player — you show up and bring it every shift

Schedule

We Need Coaches Available During These Windows

• Mon: 4–7 PM
• Tue/Thu: 3–6:30 PM
• Wed: 3–7:15 PM
• Fri: 4–6 PM
• Sat/Sun: 8 AM–1:30 PM

Part-time scheduling is built around studio needs. Additional hours are available through birthday parties and seasonal camps.
