Job summary

KidStrong Franklin is hiring coaches to work with kids 15 months through 11 years, guiding them through a structured weekly curriculum focused on physical development, cognitive skills and character. This isn't babysitting—it's coaching at a high level with measurable impact.

You'll work part-time with a schedule around center needs, connect with parents, and help kids see themselves as capable and confident.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children 15 months–11 years preferred.
• Ability to talk to parents in a natural, personal way.
• Background in athletics, coaching, education, or child development helpful.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain before first class.

We're looking for people who are great with kids, bring real energy, and want to do work that actually matters.

KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds brain, body, and character in kids from crawling through age 11. Our coaches are the reason families join, the reason they stay, and the reason kids walk out of class saying 'I am strong, I am brave, I can do this' and meaning it.

This is not babysitting. This is not daycare. This is coaching at a level most people don't associate with kids under 12, and it's one of the most rewarding things you can do with your time.

What you'd actually be doing

Coaching small groups of kids through a structured, evolving weekly curriculum focused on physical development, cognitive skills, and character. Every class is designed by child development experts, and every week is different so your kids never get bored and neither do you.

Between classes, you'll connect with parents. You'll explain the 'why' behind what their kid is working on and help them see changes they might not notice on their own. Parents trust our coaches with their kids, and that trust is earned every single class.

Who we're looking for

You don't need a perfect resume. You need to be great with kids, coachable, and the kind of person who shows up and brings it every time.

The strongest candidates tend to have a background in athletics, coaching, education, or child development but we've also hired former teachers, camp counselors, pediatric therapists, kinesiology students, and college athletes who just love kids and want meaningful part-time work.

You should have:

• Experience working with children ages 15 months–11 years (coaching, teaching, camp, PT/OT any of it counts)
• The ability to talk to parents like a real person, not a script
• Some working knowledge of movement, exercise technique, or body mechanics
• CPR certification or willingness to get certified before your first class
• High energy and a positive attitude that kids and parents can feel the second you walk in

Schedule

Part-time, built around center needs:

• Mon: 3:45–7:30 PM
• Tue/Thu: 8:45–12:30 PM & 3–7:30 PM
• Wed: 8:45-12:30pm & 3–7:45 PM
• Fri: 9:45-12:30pm & 2:45–5:30 PM
• Sat/Sun: 8 AM–1:45 PM

Additional hours available through birthday parties and seasonal camps.
