Job summary

Liberty Public Schools is seeking a Site Manager for the Kid’s Zone Before & After School Childcare program in Liberty, Missouri. The role oversees day-to-day operations, directs on-site staff, and develops age-appropriate activities for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience in a lead childcare worker role preferred.
• Minimum of 60 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Consideration given to a Degree/Certification in progress, and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check. (criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance)
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and manages the day to day operations of the assigned Kid’s Zone program site.
• Maintains program areas and adheres to program standards in regards to equipment, storage, safety and cleanliness.
• Interacts with students, parents and staff regarding information relating to the students activities while participating in the Kid’s Zone program.
• Responsible for safe delivery of students from/to parents, guardians or appointed designee.
• Leads on-site staff meetings, training, and special events and relays district or program information.
